15-Day Circle Caribbean Cruise

aboard the Caribbean Princess

Tour Highlights

Come cruise with us to some of the most exciting ports of call in the Caribbean aboard the Grand Class Caribbean Princess.

Grand Class ships are the most beautiful and spacious in the Princess fleet. They have more of everything you would expect in a 5-star floating resort - more spacious staterooms, more dining and entertainment options and more services, amenities and activities.

Go for a swim in one of the pools; relax in the sauna or get a massage in the spa; enjoy the aerobics and dance classes; enjoy the commentary on history and highlights of the ports by the on-board experts, which will help you decide on optional excursions. Or you may just want to relax in one of the many luxurious lounges with expansive windows.

As for food, Princess has introduced continuous dining options: the Pizzeria, 3 intimate dining rooms, a 24-hour international cafe, outdoor grill, afternoon tea service, ice cream bar and, of course, 24-hour room service.  Special diets are not a problem.

Staterooms are spacious and well appointed with twin beds (convertible to queen size), TV, phone, safe, hairdryer, climate control, fridge, spacious closets and a private bathroom with a shower only.

From after-dinner drinks in one of the elegant lounges, to first-run films, to the excitement of the casino, to a midnight dance or stroll on deck, there is evening entertainment to suit every mood. The speciality is the incomparable Broadway-style entertainment. The professionally produced nightclub revues feature some of the finest dancers, singers, comedians and magicians.

* All shore excursions are optional, and may be purchased in advance on Princess Cruises’ website, or onboard the ship.

Tentative Itinerary

We fly to Fort Lauderdale and upon arrival transfer to our cruise ship, the Caribbean Princess. This evening we enjoy our first delicious dinner on board.
Time to relax, get acquainted with the ship and enjoy the endless array of facilities, activities and entertainment.
A small island surrounded by a series of jagged bays, inlets and coves with miles of sandy beaches and green mountains. Enjoy exploring the colourful waterfront and cobbled streets with outstanding duty-free shopping in the lovely capital of Charlotte Amalie.
Dive into British naval history at Nelson’s Dockyard where you can patrol the museum and Blockhouse Ruins for nautical lore. Indulge your sense of wonder snorkeling above rainbow reefs or pick one of the 365 beaches and soak up the sun.
With so much natural beauty, it’s no wonder the English defended the “Gibraltar of the West Indies” from Brimstone Hill. Take it all in – from Piccadilly Circus and an island version of Big Ben to the pink salt pond, the lush gardens and rain forests.
Martinique is truly ''a little bit of France in the Caribbean." It exudes a distinctly French ambiance and the natural beauty is everywhere with pristine white sand beaches and spectacular scenery. Visit the Balata Botanical Garden, and see hibiscus, anthuriums, orchids and other exotic flora.
With its picturesque rolling hills and endless expanse of white sand beaches, Barbados is the quintessential island getaway and a long time favourite of Canadians. Investigate Harrison’s Cave, with its bubbling streams, cascading waterfalls, stalactites and stalagmites. Or you may want to taste the island’s famous rum at the Mount Gay Rum Factory.
Trinidad is the birthplace of steel pan and calypso music. There is plenty to see here. The Asa Wright Nature Center is devoted to naturalists and bird watchers. The more traditional tourist attractions are the Queen's Park Savannah, the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Magnificent Seven - a strand of impressive colonial houses reflecting Trinidad's unique heritage.
Following all of the excitement and sightseeing of the past week, a day at leisure to enjoy the ship’s facilities will be most welcome.
Colourful Willemstad is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most recognizable spots in the Caribbean. While the shops in town offer great bargains, there is also an array of pristine beaches as well as the fascinating Hato Caves.
Although this unique Dutch island has blossomed as a sophisticated Caribbean destination, the real attraction is under water. Aruba is surrounded by colourful coral. The abundant sea life around Arashi Reef or the wreck of the Antilla is simply breathtaking. If you would rather stay dry, view it all by taking an excursion from the air conditioned comfort of an Atlantis submarine or a glass bottom boat.
We disembark the ship at Fort Lauderdale and transfer to the airport for our flight home.
