Holiday Season in Victoria, BC

Canada

Tour Highlights

British Columbia’s capital, Victoria, boasts Canada’s mildest winter and thus has the country’s fastest-growing retirement community.
Victoria lies in a beautiful natural setting on Vancouver Island, surrounded by hills and overlooking the snow-clad Olympic mountains. It is a charming city with the atmosphere of a seaside resort. With its turn-of-the-century buildings and tweed and wool shops, you might be inclined to think Victoria is a transplanted corner of Britain! It is a wonderful city for those who love to walk, and active seniors with an appetite for adventure will find a vast array of delightful side trips at their disposal (in addition to the many included in our program).

Christmas in Downtown Victoria is a festive time of year with roaming carolers, trolley rides, parades and special events. We will enjoy the season in style, with a special High Tea at Abkhazi Gardens, a Christmas Brunch, a Christmas Dinner and a special New Year’s Eve Dinner and celebrations. So this Christmas don’t bother with your passport, exchange rates or bottled water and come with us to the jewel of the North Pacific – Victoria!

Our hotel in Victoria will be the Royal Scot Hotel & Suites. This superior Canada Select 4-star, AAA 3-diamond hotel is perfectly located one block from the Inner Harbour and within easy walking distance to the BC Parliament Buildings, downtown and Empress Hotel.
