Christmas / New Years Caribbean Cruise

There’s no better way to to celebrate the Holiday     Season than cruising in the Caribbean Sea. 

Princess Cruises knows how to celebrate, with its festively decorated Atrium, a host of holiday events, festive onboard activities, a traditional Christmas dinner and a festive New Years countdown party. 

While we’re enjoying the joyous holiday atmosphere on board our ship in the evenings, during the day we’ll be soaking up the sun, digging our toes in the white sand beaches, and exploring some of the most interesting ports-of-call in the Caribbean. This region boasts quaint towns alive with diverse culture, with the breathtaking backdrop of swaying palm trees, powdery sand and turquoise waters. 
We will sail aboard the beautiful Regal Princess - a   floating resort with all the amenities of a resort hotel,   and a perfect balance of tradition and innovation. Princess’ award winning shore excursions and fascinating onboard programs bring the culture and colours of this region to life, while talented chefs will  take you on a mouth-watering culinary journey.  

As for evening entertainment, take in some of the finest cruise ship productions anywhere at sea, with lavish Broadway shows complete with dazzling stage sets and international performers in the state-of-the-art theatres!

Itinerary / Excursions

We fly to Fort Lauderdale and upon arrival we transfer to our cruise ship, the Regal Princess. This evening we enjoy our first delicious dinner onboard.
Time to relax, get acquainted with the ship and enjoy the endless array of facilities, activities, and entertainment. Visit the health club for a workout or beauty treatment, join an exercise class, line dancing or perhaps a wine tasting.
The Dutch capital of Philipsburg charms with colonial architecture, historic buildings, wonderful shopping and sun-swept beaches. Just a few blocks wide, delights can be found around every corner. On the other side of the island, the hub of French St. Martin is filled with designer boutiques, sidewalk cafes, bistros and trendy art galleries. Wander through the charming streets and experience a taste of France.
With so much natural beauty, it’s no wonder the English defended the “Gibralter of the West Indies” from Brimstone Hill. Take it all in - from Piccadilly Circus and an island version of Big Ben to the pink salt pond, the lush gardens and rain forests.
San Juan is known as the walled city and is one of the biggest and best natural harbours in the Caribbean. It is also the second oldest European founded city in the Americas. Explore Old San Juan with its 400 carefully restored 16th and 17th century Spanish colonial buildings. Visit the 16th century National Historic Site fort of El Morro, which covers over 70 acres and features six levels that rise from sea level to 145 feet.
This small island is bursting with 19th century Caribbean charm. The Bermudan British colonial architecture sits alongside the marine – blue waters of the Caribbean. Grand Turk is blessed with miles of quiet sugary beaches and is close to several uninhabited cays just waiting to be explored.
Enjoy a culinary demonstration, afternoon tea, or catch a movie under the stars. 
This evening we enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner, with all the trimmings, prepared by Princess’ own expert chefs
The Florida Everglades are home to many endangered species, so airboat rides through the “River of Grass” are the prefect way to view the wildlife. Go for a stroll on Los Olas Boulevard in the trendy Riverwalk district which features a host of fabulous art galleries, eclectic boutiques and busy sidewalk cafes.
Colourful Willemstad is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most recognizable spots in the Caribbean. While the shops in town offer great bargains, there is also an array of pristine beaches as well as the fascinating Hato Caves.
If you think you have seen everything, come explore the kunuku - a Caribbean-style outback terrain unique to the Netherlands Antilles. Here nature serves up prickly cactus where iguanas feel at home and the offshore waters shimmer in various shades of aquamarine.
Although this unique Dutch island has blossomed as a sophisticated Caribbean destination, the real attraction is under water. Aruba is surrounded by colourful coral. The abundant sea life around Arashi Reef or the wreck of the Antilla is simply breathtaking. If you would rather stay dry, view it all by taking an excursion from the air conditioned comfort of an Atlantis submarine or a glass bottom boat.

This evening we enjoy a gala New Year’s Eve Countdown Party
We arrive back in Fort Lauderdale in the morning and transfer to the airport for our flight home.
