Hawaiian Island Cruise

aboard the Ruby Princess

Tour Highlights

Cruising is an ideal way to explore the tropical paradise of Hawaii.
On this cruise we visit the big island of Hawaii - known for its orchids and volcanoes, Maui - with its green hills and gentle valleys, Kauai (The Garden Isle), and Oahu for the excitement of Honolulu.

We will cruise in style and luxury aboard the Ruby Princess. The ships of Princess Cruises are among the most beautiful and hospitable, and have more of everything you would expect in a 5-star floating resort. Princess’ award-winning shore excursions and fascinating onboard programs will bring the cultures and colours of Hawaii to life. Talented chefs will take you on a culinary journey, with freshly prepared and carefully crafted dishes that celebrate Hawaii.

Take in some of the finest cruise ship entertainment as the theatre lights up the top deck day or night with feature films, watch a lavish Broadway production complete with dazzling stage sets and international performers in the state-of-the art Princess theatre!

* All shore excursions are optional, and may be purchased in advance on Princess Cruises’ website, or onboard the ship.

Tentative Itinerary

We depart for San Francisco. Upon arrival we transfer to our Princess cruise ship which sails later in the afternoon. This evening we enjoy our first delicious dinner on board.
Time now to enjoy the many pleasures of our cruise ship. Pamper yourself in the Spa, play a game of shuffleboard, take some time for golf or partake in afternoon tea. Browse the boutiques, take in a movie at the theatre or just curl up in a deck chair with a good book - a time honoured seafaring tradition.
On the lush rainforest side of Hawaii's Big Island, the "City of Rainbows" offers a look at the power and beauty of nature. You may enjoy the breathtaking views of the 420 foot thundering Akaka Falls or drive around Crater Rim at Volcanoes National Park.
Honolulu is Hawaii’s largest city and the state capital. It is probably most famous for its main beach - Waikiki Beach. You may want to visit Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on U.S. soil, or see the USS Arizona Memorial and the "Mighty Missouri" at Pearl Harbour.
The oldest inhabited island in Hawaii, the "Garden Isle" boasts Waimea Canyon, known as "The Grand Canyon of the Pacific". You may want to take a boat ride on the Wailua River or visit Fern Grotto and hear a performance of "The Hawaiian Wedding Song".
Maui is the second largest of the Hawaiian Islands. It's largest town, Lahaina, was once a whaling port and now a lovely resort area. It is a great place in which to stroll. The surrounding hills are planted with sugar cane and pineapple and the excellent beaches welcome those who like to swim. Well worth a visit is the Haleakala Crater, the highest point on the island.
We leave Hawaii and begin our cruise back to the mainland. Be watchful for whales and dolphins. We have not had a lot of time during these past 4 days to enjoy everything our ship has to offer, but as we head for the mainland you will be able to catch up. Relax and enjoy all the activities, facilities and entertainment on board.
This friendly port on the Baja Peninsula boasts more than just a warm Mediterranean climate. Optional excursions will be offered to Bodegas de Santo Tomas, Baja’s oldest winery.
A final day to enjoy our luxurious cruise ship
Farewell to our friends on our Princess cruise ship as we disembark and transfer to the airport for our flight home.
