Featuring 3 Top Shows Including Cirque Du Soleil
The “Entertainment Capital of the World”, “Americas’ Playground” and “Sin City” are just a few of the nicknames associated with Las Vegas.
The city that used to be known for gambling is now known more for its world-class entertainment, and a visit here is an opportunity to see the world’s best singers, comedians and musicians. There are more entertainment superstars and production spectaculars here than anywhere in the world. We have pre-booked excellent seats for three of the most popular performances in town, which tentatively include:
1. Cirque du Soleil (Bellagio) – There are 6 Cirque shows in Vegas. Our choice is “O”- an aquatic tapestry of artistry and theatrical romance woven in a timeless production! It pays tribute to theatre – from the simplest street performance to the most lavish of operas – where anything is possible! World-class acrobats, synchronized swimmers, divers and characters perform in, on, and above water to create a breathtaking experience!
*** If you have already seen “O”, you may choose to see one of many other Cirque shows playing in Vegas!
2. Extravaganza – The Vegas Spectacular (Bally’s).
An unforgettable revue of stunning performances mixed with spectacular sets, massive LED screens and stateof-the-art holograms (includes some of Las Vegas’ headliners, from Elvis to Frank Sinatra) will take your breath away. Glamorous costumes, iconic show girls and sizzling dance numbers take you through a visual whirlwind of the best of Las Vegas entertainment.
3. You choose between 3 Headliner shows! Since it is too early to predict exactly which shows will be playing in November, your 3rd show will be your choice between 3 Premium Headliner shows. We will contact you in advance with the show selections.
We will stay at Bally’s Las Vegas Resort and Casino (or similar) in Deluxe upgraded rooms. This First Class resort is located right on “The Strip”. Although the hotel’s location is right in the heart of the action, one can escape to its tranquil large Spa area where you can indulge in various treatments. The huge outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by lush palm trees and private cabanas, and overlooks the property’s tennis courts. The hotel has an impressive range of bars and restaurants and boasts a stylistic “Old Vegas” feel. Free WiFi is included throughout the hotel.
Itinerary / Excursions
We depart for Las Vegas. Upon arrival we will be met and transferred to our hotel. The balance of the day is free and this evening is our Welcome Dinner.
We begin with a visit to the scenic Red Rock Canyon, which provides a striking contrast to the nearby big city of lights. As we wind through the 13-mile Scenic Drive we will be surrounded by dramatic sandstone rock formations, and we may even spot elusive wildlife such as desert bighorn sheep, bobcats, gray foxes and wild burros. There will be stops at overlooks to enjoy the beautiful vistas of this area.
We then return to the city and enjoy a tour of Glitter Gulch, The Strip and the older downtown section. Included is a visit to The Mob Museum which showcases both sides of the notorious battle between the law and organized crime members like Al Capone, Whitey Bulger, Bugsy Siegel, John Gotti and many more.
Tonight we enjoy our first show.
A full day to discover Vegas! Use your included “Deuce” local double decker Travel Pass to explore along the strip (with stops at virtually every hotel and casino along the Las Vegas strip). The Deuce on the Strip travels as far south as the iconic “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, Las Vegas South Premium Outlets and the Northern Freemont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas. There will be time to explore the famous hotels, casinos, hikes, museums and free attractions. Perhaps you may want to consider a helicopter flight over the city or even to the majestic Grand Canyon – one of the World’s 7 Natural Wonders! And if relaxation is what you are looking for, one can enjoy the facilities of the hotel.
This evening we enjoy a spectacular Illuminated Night Tour of the city! It is at night that the city dazzles with lights, exploding volcanoes, dancing fountains and the “Freemont Experience” - a stunning visual and sound show featuring 12 million glittering lights.
Today’s guided tour takes us to Hoover Dam - a man made wonder (in fact an amazing engineering feat) with unsurpassed views. One can even walk between Nevada and Arizona to view Hoover Dam from two states. Our tour of the Dam includes the exhibits in The Visitors Center, the indoor / outdoor observation decks as well as a tour of the powerplant and passageways within the dam itself! Next, we head over to spectacular Lake Mead where we board a paddlewheel boat for a delicious included lunch during a 90 minute cruise with a rare lake view of the magnificent Hoover Dam.
This evening is our second show.
Our last day to enjoy “The Entertainment Capital of the World” at our leisure! The list of things to do is endless - ask your Tour Manager for suggestions.
Tonight is our Farewell Dinner followed by our last show!
A sad farewell to Las Vegas as Air Canada Rouge takes us home.
