Marvellous Majorca

A sunny mild climate, leisurely lifestyle and spectacular scenery are just a few of the reasons why the Spanish island of Majorca is such a popular vacation destination.
The island is known for its stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, sheltered coves with azure waters, limestone mountains and Roman and Moorish remains. There are wonderful historic sites such as the medieval Santa María Cathedral, Moorish Royal Palace and Old Quarter in the capital, Palma. Inland you will find honey-stone villages, old manor estates and old farmhouses surrounded by olive, carob and almond groves. The modern side of the island has yacht marinas, art galleries, modern museums and fashionable boutiques.

Our hotel for this relaxing holiday is the First Class Hotel Palma Bellver by Melia situated in the lively city of Palma de  Mallorca.  Ideally located on the seafront promenade of Palm Bay with lovely views of the marina and famous Cathedral, there are many shops and restaurants nearby, and the charming Santa Catalina district with its popular outdoor cafes, bars and restaurants is within a short walk. Facilities of the hotel include a large sundeck, outdoor pool (not heated) and pool bar with beautiful views to relax and unwind.  Breakfast and dinners are served in the main international restaurant.  Bright, sunny guest rooms are comfortably furnished and include air conditioning, satellite TV channels, room safe, balcony and partial sea view. There is complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel.

* Those joining any of our tours to Europe must be able to walk fairly long distances and climb stairs easily.
