Marvellous Majorca Spain

Tour Highlights

A sunny mild climate, leisurely lifestyle and spectacular scenery are just a few of the reasons why the Spanish island of Majorca is such a popular vacation destination.
The island is known for its stunning coastline, beautiful beaches, sheltered coves with azure waters, limestone mountains and Roman and Moorish remains. There are wonderful historic sites such as the medieval Santa María Cathedral, Moorish Royal Palace and Old Quarter in the capital, Palma. Inland you will find honey-stone villages, old manor estates and old farmhouses surrounded by olive, carob and almond groves. The modern side of the island has yacht marinas, art galleries, modern museums and fashionable boutiques.

Our hotel for this relaxing holiday is the Melia Calvia Beach Plaza in the resort town of Magaluf, just outside of Palma. The white sands and crystal-clear waters of Calvia Beach are just steps away and the hotel is next to the pedestrian-only boulevard of Avenida de Magaluf which features a great variety of shops, entertainment and cafes. The hotel has a number of restaurants, including Spanish, Italian, Japanese, an Argentinian Steakhouse and a buffet restaurant. Each day you can choose a different restaurant for dinner!  Facilities of the hotel include a spectacular rooftop suspended pool with sea views, a rooftop bar and full-service fitness centre.  The modern guest rooms are all sea view with balcony, and there is complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel.
