Tour Highlights

• Abu Dhabi • United Arab Emirates • Oman
• Qatar • 4 night stay and touring in Dubai

Join us as we cruise to some of the most interesting ports in the Middle East, and spend time in the dazzling city of Dubai.

We begin in Dubai, which has gone from a sleepy pearl-diving village to one of the world’s most talked about cities. The business capital of the United Arab Emirates has breath-taking architecture, towering skyscrapers, man-made islands and a glittering cityscape, as well as old, traditional Middle Eastern buildings, souks and customs.

We then board our cruise ship and sail through the Persian Gulf, visiting various ports in Oman and Abu Dhabi (before returning to Dubai at the end). We will sail in comfort aboard the Costa Diadema. This moderate European-style floating resort is in the grand size class of ships, so there are many options for entertainment, dining and activities. Features of the ship include jacuzzis, 3 swimming pools, an outdoor jogging track and Spa center offering a full range of beauty, health and relaxation treatments. There are theme parties, dance lessons, a casino and shopping boutiques. For dining there are 7 restaurants to suit all tastes plus gourmet buffets. With 15 bars and lounges there is always a place to relax. The theatre for evening shows is spread over 3 levels. Our spacious Premium guestrooms are well appointed with  2 beds, phone, TV, safe and fridge. The bathroom has a shower only. Choose between an inside, outside or balcony cabin.

* During the land portion of the tour all excursions are included.  During the cruise portion all shore excursions are optional. Those interested will pay on board the ship.

Our touring of Dubai begins with the twin minarets of the Jumeirah Mosque - a magnificent example of Islamic architecture and one of Dubai’s most famous sites. We drive around the Bastakiya area with its old merchant houses and wind towers, and then visit the Dubai Museum in the 180-year-old Al Fahidi Fort. An “Abra” (water taxi) will take us across the Dubai Creek to browse the spice and gold souk. Finally we ascend by high-speed elevator to the observation deck of Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world, for a breathtaking 360-degree view of the city, ocean and desert. Lunch is included on our tour. Afternoon at leisure. This evening we enjoy a “Dhow” Dinner Cruise along Dubai Creek with spectacular views of the city.
A full-day tour to the oasis city of Al Ain located in the Hajar Mountains. At leisure to enjoy all the ship has to offer.
Doha is a vibrant capital with a mix of modern skyscrapers and picturesque souks.  The Mosque of Phanar is a newly built Mosque, and is a fine example of Islamic architecture, with the particular spiral minaret which is perfectly identical from every angle. At night the Mosque is enhanced by magnificent lighting effects. Today you can also visit the nearby souks, and immerse yourself in Middle Eastern flair.
Situated on a peninsula surrounded by a cluster of islands, Abu Dhabi is the ultra-modern capital of the United Arab Emirates, with wide avenues snaking between bold skyscrapers.
