Southern France and Paris

Tour Highlights

3-Centre Tour to
• Paris  • Provence  • French Riviera
Any visit to France is a feast for the senses. Each region offers a vast diversity of scenery, architecture, attractions, culture and cuisine. On this charming tour we concentrate on the three most popular destinations in France, enjoying a wide array of sightseeing and time at leisure to further explore and experience these places in your own way.

We begin with a 4-night stay in Paris, "the City of Lights". France's capital has a rich history, many famous tourist attractions and cultural events. Whether you are visiting one of the world-renowned museums or simply enjoying a stroll in one of its quaint quarters, Paris is sure to provide you with a memorable stay.
From Paris we take the high-speed TGV train to the region of Provence and the beautiful walled city of Avignon for a 5-night stay.  Provence has enchanted visitors for centuries, with its old sculpted buildings, shaded squares, unique landscapes, Roman and medieval towns, vineyards, lavender and sunflower fields and sumptuous food markets. The light here bathes everything in a golden hue, which is why Provence has attracted so many artists throughout history.

Our final stop is Nice, located in the heart of the French Riviera with its turquoise waters, beaches, sidewalk cafes and lovely old towns.  Nice’s beachfront is skirted by the Promenade des Anglais, a delightful place to stroll. During our 4-night stay, we explore the Azur Coast and see trendy St-Tropez, visit the medieval town of Eze, the principality of Monaco and Monte Carlo and have some leisure time to enjoy this sun-filled area.

We will stay in First Class hotels, all of which are centrally located in the towns and cities we stay.

*** Those joining any of our tours to Europe must be able to walk fairly long distances and climb stairs easily.

This morning we discover the famous Pont Du Gard. Built by the Romans, it was a technical and artistic masterpiece ahead of its time. Then we travel through the countryside and vineyards to Châteauneuf-du-Pape for a vineyard visit and tasting. We return to Avignon for an afternoon at leisure.
Today we travel to the French Riviera with a stop in quaint St-Tropez enroute. This one time fishing village has become a fashionable resort frequented by writers, artists and celebrities.
