This holiday to Spain's Costa del Sol and Portugal's Algarve will suit those who want to explore both countries while enjoying a relaxing vacation.
In Costa del Sol we stay 6 nights at the lovely seaside resort town of Torremolinos situated on the inviting Mediterranean Sea. Our hotel here will be the lovely “all-suites” Sol House Costa del Sol located directly on the seafront promenade and famous Carihuela Beach, steps away from the luxurious Puerto Marina with its sleek white yachts and charming sailboats, along with many unique art galleries, shops and restaurants. The hotel lobby is beautifully designed with polished marble floors and natural wood décor. There are 5 outdoor seafront pools (one is heated during the winter), an international buffet restaurant and a nightly entertainment program with a variety of live music and shows. Guest suites feature a large picture window and sliding doors out to a private terrace or balcony (mountain view). There is a separate living area with sofa and bedroom (queen or twin beds), and complementary Wi-Fi.
After our stay in the Costa del Sol we transfer by coach to the Algarve region in Portugal, enjoying en route a sightseeing tour of the historic Spanish city of Seville. In the Algarve we stay 6 nights in the popular resort town of Albufeira, one of the most picturesque areas of the Algarve with a sandy beach that stretches for miles, azure waters and impressive cliffs and rock formations. Our hotel here is the First Class Vila Gale Cerro Alagoa, located within a 5-minute walk from the town centre and the beach. Facilities of the hotel include a restaurant, bar, outdoor pool, fitness centre with an indoor heated pool, jacuzzi and a games room with billiards and card tables. Guest rooms are simply furnished and all have a balcony. Wine, beer, soft drinks and water are included with lunches and dinners.
After our stay in Albufeira we enjoy a scenic drive to Lisbon where we enjoy a city sightseeing tour, our Farewell Dinner and overnight in a centrally located hotel.
*Those joining any of our tours to Europe must be able to walk fairly long distances and climb stairs easily.
