The Enchanting Rhine River

Deluxe Riverboat Cruise from Amsterdam to Switzerland | 2 nights Lucerne and 2 nights Zurich | All shore excursions included!

Tour Highlights

This enchanting holiday begins in Amsterdam where we board our Deluxe riverboat for a leisurely 7-night cruise through Holland, Germany, France and Switzerland.

After enjoying the legendary canals and colourful architecture of Amsterdam our riverboat takes us to Cologne with its majestic Cathedral, the historic university town of Heidelberg, the Alsatian capital of Strasbourg, the legendary Black Forest region and other historic ports of call in Germany. A special feature of this cruise is that all shore excursions are included and expertly conducted by English speaking guides.

We end our cruise in Switzerland, with 2-night stays in both Lucerne and Zurich. While in the midst of Switzerland’s stunning scenery and world-famous cities, we will enjoy lake-side excursions and Alpine vistas.

Our riverboat, the Deluxe Amadeus Silver III is a modern ship built specially for river cruising, combining the luxuries of a 5-star hotel with innovative design and First Class service. The glass-shielded River Terrace invites you to relax outdoors, while offering breathtaking views.

The ship provides the highest standards of cuisine in the stylish Panorama Restaurant, which offers ample room for all passengers at one sitting. Regional wines are served with both lunch and dinner. There is musical entertainment nightly as well as informative lectures.

All cabins have a panoramic window or walk-out balcony, thus offering spectacular views of the passing river landscapes. There is a choice of bed configuration (double or twin), flat-screen television, individual climate control, en-suite bathroom with shower telephone and in-room safe.

***Those joining any of our tours to Europe must be able to walk fairly long distances and climb stairs easily.
