The Cahuilla Indians named this area Agua Caliente (Hot Water) due to the healing waters of its warm mineral springs. Years later, Hollywood stars created a retreat here. The desert’s stunning natural beauty, a unique location that remains warm, dry and balmy all year round (the area boasts 350 days of sunshine annually), and the pure clean air, are major reasons for the area’s popularity. In and around Palm Springs there are splendid mountains, lush canyons and thousands of palm trees. Despite all the changes over the years, the town of Palm Springs continues to preserve its intimate village feeling.

Our moderate hotel, the Homewood Suites by Hilton Cathedral City is in Greater Palm Springs, (on the border of Palm Springs and Cathedral City), nestled up against the San Jacinto Mountain Range with magical sunsets as a colourful backdrop. The hotel is located just 5 miles from the renowned downtown Palm Springs district, with its many options for shopping and dining, and our coach will be with us at the hotel throughout our stay in order to provide shuttles into town during all of our days at leisure. The hotel offers fine amenities and services, nearby golf courses and diverse recreational facilities.

Our suites will include a kitchen with a breakfast bar and living room, and separate bedroom(s). Choose between a 1-Bedroom Suite (king-sized bed in the bedroom, and a pullout couch in the living room) or a 2-Bedroom Suite (king-size bed in each room). Other hotel features include:

Weekly Evening Socials offering beer, wine and snacks

• Backyard BBQ Pavilion and an outdoor fire pit
• Outdoor heated swimming pool

• Complimentary Wi-Fi
