Our hotel here will be the lovely “allsuites” Sol House Costa del Sol located directly on the seafront promenade and famous Carihuela Beach, steps away from the luxurious Puerto Marina with its sleek white yachts and charming sailboats, along with many unique art galleries, shops and restaurants. The hotel lobby is beautifully designed with polished marble floors and natural wood décor. There are 5 outdoor seafront pools (one is heated during the winter), an international buffet restaurant and a nightly entertainment program with a variety of live music and shows. Guest suites feature a large picture window and sliding doors out to a private terrace or balcony. There is a separate living area with sofa and bedroom (queen or twin beds), and complementary Wi-Fi.
After our stay in the Costa del Sol we transfer by coach to the Algarve region in Portugal, enjoying en route a sightseeing tour of the historic Spanish city of Seville. In the Algarve we stay 9 nights in the popular resort town of Albufeira, one of the most picturesque areas of the Algarve with a sandy beach that stretches for miles, azure waters and impressive cliffs and rock formations. Our hotel here is the First Class Vila Gale Cerro Alagoa, located within a 5-minute walk from the town centre and the beach. WHILE IN SPAIN: Malaga
1. MALAGA (Half day tour). Our tour of the modern yet historic port city of Malaga, Picasso’s birthplace, will include “Gibralfaro” - an old Arab Fortress offering fantastic views over the city and the Mediterranean. We will also visit the Cathedral - one of the best examples of Spanish Renaissance architecture.
MIJAS (Half-day tour). Situated in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas, this picturesque village is known as the “Essence of Andalusia” for its white houses, windows full of flowers, and narrow streets. During our walking tour, we will see the Shrine of the “Virgen de la Peña”, the Parish Church, the Bullring, and the Auditorium.

We visit a rural oil production plant to sample different varieties before continuing to the charming mountain village of Alfarnatejo. A special lunch with a local family showcases the world-renowned gastronomy of the region.

Some of the walls of the town remain after sections were restored. After some time here we visit Sagres and nearby Cape St Vincent, the most southwestern point of Europe. An
