Only here will you find all of America's best attributes - diversity, culture, and style - intensified in such an intriguing way.  Our tour will feature all of the main highlights New York City has to offer: the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings; Statue of Liberty; Rockefeller Center; Times Square; Brooklyn Bridge; Soho and Central Park. In addition to our sightseeing tours, we'll enjoy a harbour cruise and plenty of time for shopping. Special features include the wonderful play "To Kill a Mockingbird".

After an overnight en route in upstate New York we continue on to our First Class hotel in New Jersey for a 3-night stay. Our hotel, the Double Tree Fort Lee is located just across the Hudson River in New Jersey, 30 minutes from downtown Manhattan. Facilities of the hotel include 2 restaurants, a lounge, room service, indoor heated pool and concierge. All guest rooms have either 2 double beds or one king size bed, TV, coffee maker and free WiFi.

Itinerary / Excursions

Day 1: Departure / Vestal, NY

We depart from pre-determined pick-up points in the Toronto / Hamilton area. After crossing the border we travel through New York State to our stopover point - Vestal, NY. Tonight we enjoy our Welcome Dinner.

Day 2: New York City Tour

We proceed to New York and upon arrival we begin our first city tour. Today we will see Times Square, Central Park and many other sights. We then continue to the One World Observatory World Trade Center and take the elevator to the top for the world-famous city views this amazing landmark provides. We will enjoy dinner at a downtown restaurant before proceeding to our hotel, the Double Tree in Fort Lee, New Jersey.

Day 3: New York City Tour

A full day of sightseeing in the "Big Apple" today. We drive to Manhattan for a guided panoramic tour of the major highlights; the Chrysler Building, Rockefeller Center, Soho and the famous shops of Fifth Avenue. We also see some beautiful views of the Brooklyn Bridge. This afternoon we embark on a narrated harbour cruise to the Statue of Liberty. Our on-board guide will bring New York's sights and fascinating history to life while we enjoy views of the world’s most famous skyline.<br><br>Tonight we enjoy the Broadway stage adaptation of Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel To Kill a Mockingbird, based on an event that occurred in Alabama in the 1930s<br><br><span style="font-family: Poppins, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400;">This enduring story of racial injustice and the destruction of childhood innocence centers on one of the most beloved and admired characters in American literature - the small-town lawyer Atticus Finch.</span><br>

Day 4: New York City

This morning we return to New York City for a free day of sightseeing and shopping. There will be a number of scheduled drop-off and pick-up points throughout the city to accommodate a variety of interests. Perhaps take the ferry to Staten Island, explore the artist enclave of Greenwich Village or visit one of the many fantastic museums the city has to offer. Your Tour Manager will be full of suggestions. Tonight is our Farewell Dinner.

Day 5: Return Home

We cross the border back into Canada, with a stop at the Duty Free Shop. We arrive home in the early evening.
