- BlueSky Referrals Member – Client enrolled in BlueSky Referrals program
- Referrer - BlueSky Referrals Member who makes a referral
- Referral / Referee – Family member or friend being referred by a BlueSky Referrals member
- Successful Referral - Referee has accepted the referral
By creating an online account, you will be enrolling in Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals programs, and you accept and agree to the terms and conditions below which may be revised.
CREATING AN ONLINE ACCOUNT
Overview:
The online account gives members access to their client profile in the Senior Discovery Tours reservations system. Members can edit their personal information, view status, manage participation in Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals programs, view their tour history from March 2021 onwards and complete online bookings (coming soon!) directly through their online account.
Conditions of Enrollment:
1. Registration to Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals is only open to residents of Canada.
2. You must create an online account to register for Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals programs.
3. Only one individual is eligible to create an online account. Joint accounts are not permitted.
4. Online accounts are non-transferable and must remain with the originating member.
5. A unique email address is required to set up an online account. The same email address cannot be registered for more than one online account profile.
6. For new clients, once you create an online account, a client profile will be created in our reservations system and all data will be synced.
7. For existing clients, the email address you use to create an online account must match your email address in our reservation system (If you wish to change your email address or are unsure of which email address you currently have on file, please contact us by phone at 1.800.268.3492 or email: info@stc.ca prior to creating your online account).
8. Couples or travelling companions that currently have the same email address in our reservation system will need to contact Senior Discovery Tours to update their profile and provide their own unique email addresses before creating an online account. Each travelling companion will need to create their own online account.
9. Senior Discovery Tours staff can only provide guidance and instructions on creating an online account and signing up to our programs. Due to legal privacy policy opt-in requirements, we are not able to create an account on your behalf or automatically enroll you in our programs.
10. A member may reset their password and update their contact details at any time through their online account dashboard. To update your email address, please contact us by phone at 1.800.268.3492 or email: info@stc.ca
11. A member may delete their online account at any time by sending a request by phone at 1.800.268.3492 or email to: info@stc.ca
11.1. A deleted online account will result in removal from Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals programs.
12. Senior Discovery Tours reserves the right to discontinue the online account of any member at any time with immediate effect and without written notice, for any reason at Senior Discovery Tours’ sole discretion including, without limitation, if Senior Discovery Tours believes a member is using the online account, Discovery Rewards, or BlueSky Referrals in a manner that is inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions.
12.1. A discontinued online account will remove your enrollment from Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals and will result in the loss of all membership entitlements.
Client Profile & Personal Information:
13. Personal information provided by members to Senior Discovery Tours through the online account must be valid, accurate, and current. You may update your personal information through your online account or by contacting Senior Discovery Tours directly at 1.800.268.3492 or email: info@stc.ca

13.2. In order to be eligible to receive benefits through Discovery Rewards or BlueSky Referrals, members must ensure that account information on file is current including name, address, phone number and email.
14. Senior Discovery Tours is committed to safeguarding your personal information. You hereby consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy which can be found at: https://www.seniordiscoverytours.ca/en/privacy-policy.
Communications from Senior Discovery Tours
15. Senior Discovery Tours will communicate with you about your online account, Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals via email, phone and/or by mail. By creating an online account, you agree to receive communications from Senior Discovery Tours as stated.
16. By participating in the BlueSky Referrals program, the referrer and referee agree to receive communications as stated in point (15) and promotional communications per the outlined Terms and Conditions of the program.
DISCOVERY REWARDS
Overview:
Discovery Rewards is our loyalty program designed to reward members for travelling. The more members travel with Senior Discovery Tours, the higher their rewards!
Discovery Rewards Conditions of Enrollment:
17. Discovery Rewards program is open only to Canadian residents.
Status Upon Enrollment:
18. The number of tours taken with Senior Discovery Tours since January 1, 2017 will count towards your Discovery Rewards status upon enrollment. This only means you start the program at your earned level.
19. If you have not completed a tour with Senior Discovery Tours since January 1, 2017, you will start the Discovery Rewards program from the beginning (first level), as a Blue Member.
20. If you enroll in the program and have travelled with Senior Discovery Tours since January 1, 2017, you will be placed in the level in which you qualify for which is based on the number of tours you have completed since that date. This only means you start the program at your respective/earned level.
21. To receive any rewards, gifts or savings, Discovery Rewards members are required to complete one tour (or more) until they upgrade their status to the next level.
Discovery Rewards Levels:
22. There are 5 levels in the Discovery Rewards program and they are solely based on the number of tours completed.
23. Each completed tour counts as 1 tour in the Discovery Rewards program.
24. You qualify for rewards (one-time level-specific gift or $ savings) once you have completed one tour (or more) that will upgrade your status to the next level.
25. Blue Members are those who have never completed a tour with SDT or have completed 1 tour since January 1, 2017. You will receive a welcome package and 2 blue luggage tags in the mail upon enrollment.
26. You will become a Silver Member once you have completed 2 tours with SDT. You will be entitled to a one-time SDT branded gift when you reach this level. You will receive a welcome package and 2 silver luggage tags in the mail upon enrollment.
27. You will become a Gold Member after you have completed 3 tours with SDT. You will receive a welcome package and 2 gold luggage tags in the mail upon enrollment. When you upgrade to this level you will receive a one-time SDT branded gift and a one-time $300 future savings. There is no expiry to the $ savings.
28. You will become a Platinum Member after you have completed 5 tours with SDT. You will receive a welcome package and 2 platinum luggage tags in the mail upon enrollment. When you upgrade to this level, you will receive a one-time SDT branded gift and a one-time $500 future savings. There is no expiry to the $ savings.
29. You will become a Diamond Member once you have completed 10 tours with SDT. You will receive a welcome package and diamond luggage tags in the mail upon enrollment. When you upgrade to this level by completing 10 tours, you will receive a one-time SDT branded gift and a one-time $1000 future savings. There is no expiry to the $ savings.
29.1. As a Diamond member, every 5 tours completed with us (15th, 20th, 25th, etc.) you will receive a one-time future savings of $1000 and continue to enjoy your Discovery Rewards benefits. There is no expiry to the $ savings.

Claiming Discovery Rewards:
31. The $ savings must be redeemed at time of booking before making a payment.
32. There is no expiry to the $ savings.
33. The $ savings have no cash value and are not transferable.
34. The $ savings rewards for Discovery Rewards cannot be combined with any other offers.
BLUESKY REFERRALS
Overview:
BlueSky Referrals is Senior Discovery Tours referral program that rewards members who refer family and friends.
The person referring (Referrer) and the person being referred (Referral/Referee) are both rewarded with the BlueSky Referrals program.
35. BlueSky Referrals is open only to Canadian residents.
36. By participating in the BlueSky Referrals program, the referrer agrees to obtain consent from their family and friends prior to providing their contact information.
37. The referral and referee agree to receive our marketing communications and accept all the terms and conditions of the program.
38. Your referrals cannot be family members or friends living with you in the same household.
39. Referrers can send a referral link to family members and friends. This will be provided to you in the “Welcome to BlueSky Referrals” program email or through the BlueSky Referrals section on your online account dashboard.
40. A referral link is an email from Senior Discovery Tours to your family member or friend inviting them to accept their participation in the BlueSky Referrals program as a referral.
41. To qualify for any rewards, a referrer is required to have at least one successful referral based on our program terms and conditions. There is no limit to the number of rewards a referrer can earn through the BlueSky Referrals program.
42. Once your successful referral completes a tour, you will both be rewarded.
43. Referrer will receive a $300 savings towards a future tour as a thank-you for the referral (one-time per successful referral). The referrer will receive an email once they become eligible for their reward and their online account will be automatically credited. There is no expiry to the $ savings.
44. Referral will receive a special gift in the mail for travelling with Senior Discovery Tours (one-time after completing first tour). The referral will receive an email once they become eligible for their reward.
45. A member may opt-out of BlueSky Referrals at any time by sending a request by phone at 1.800.268.3492 or email to: info@stc.ca
Claiming BlueSky Referrals Rewards:
46. The $300 savings must be redeemed at the time of booking before making a payment.
47. There is no expiry to the $300 savings.
48. The $300 savings have no cash value and are not transferable.
49. The $300 savings reward for BlueSky Referrals cannot be combined with any offers.
Changes to the Program
If you reside outside of Quebec:
Subject to applicable law, Senior Discovery Tours reserves the right to unilaterally amend, restrict, suspend, extend or otherwise alter any of these Terms and Conditions as well as the format and features of both the Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals programs.
In the event the Terms and Conditions, or any aspect of the Discovery Rewards/BlueSky Referrals programs, is restricted, suspended or changed, we will provide you advance notice by posting the amended Terms and Conditions online at www.seniordiscoverytours.ca, and by sending you notice using your email or mailing address on file.
Your continued participation in the Discovery Rewards or BlueSky Referrals programs following such notice will constitute your consent to any amendments to these Terms and Conditions, or any other aspect of either of those programs. In the event that the amendment entails an increase in your obligations or a reduction in our obligations and you do not agree to such amendment, you may close your account and cancel your participation in both programs without cost or penalty. You will then have 45 days to redeem any benefits accrued from either program. Any benefits accrued from the Discovery Rewards or BlueSky Referrals programs that are not redeemed after those 45 days will be forfeited.
Unless you expressly terminate your Discovery Rewards/BlueSky Referrals membership upon a change to these Terms and Conditions, your continued participation in the Discovery Rewards/BlueSky Referrals programs will constitute your consent to a change to these Terms and Conditions, as amended.
If you reside in Quebec:
The following terms and conditions apply to residents of Quebec only:
Senior Discovery Tours reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions as well as the format and features of both the Discovery Rewards and BlueSky Referrals programs with notice as required by applicable law, including but not limited to:
• Enrollment and eligibility conditions
• The management of online accounts as it pertains to both programs including conditions for closure
• The method and threshold in which levels and rewards in the Discovery Rewards program are earned, adjusted or redeemed provided that any change does not devalue any of the rewards earned prior to the effective date of a change in the Terms and Conditions
• The method and threshold in which BlueSky Referrals rewards are earned, adjusted or redeemed provided that any change does not devalue any of the rewards earned prior to the effective date of a change in the Terms and Conditions
• Limitations or restrictions surrounding the redemption of benefits and rewards Senior Discovery Tours will provide you with written notice or notice by electronic means of any Terms and Conditions Change, specifically identifying the new and/or amended sections of the Discovery Rewards/BlueSky Referrals Terms and Conditions, between 60 and 90 days before the Terms and Conditions Change comes into effect.
Upon receipt of the notice from Senior Discovery Tours, you may refuse to accept the Terms and Conditions Change and cancel your participation in the Discovery Rewards program, the BlueSky Referrals program or both without penalty, cost or indemnification, by sending us a written notice no later than 30 days after the effective date of the Terms and Conditions Change, at the address or email address indicated in the notice from Senior Discovery Tours. If you send us such written notice, Senior Discovery Tours will terminate your membership in the respective program.
If you do not exercise your right to cancel your participation in the Senior Discovery Rewards or the BlueSky Referrals programs in the period set out above, your continued enrollment and participation in the respective program after the effective date of any Terms and Conditions Change is your acknowledgement that you agree to the terms and conditions, as modified.
In the case your online account is discontinued (as referenced above), Senior Discovery Tours will provide you with at least 30, but not more than 60, days prior written notice before any benefits accrued from the Discovery Rewards/BlueSky Referrals will expire.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and the federal laws applicable in Ontario, without reference to conflict of laws provisions. However, in respect of residents of Quebec, these Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws applicable in Quebec.
Senior Discovery Tours reserves the right to terminate the Discovery Rewards and/or BlueSky Referrals programs at any time, with or without cause. In the event of program termination, all benefits and rewards accrued prior to the termination date will be honored if redeemed within 6 months. Any rewards or benefits not redeemed within this period will be forfeited. Senior Discovery Tours will provide advance notice of termination through email and our website.
Senior Discovery Tours is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenues, or data, related to the Discovery Rewards or BlueSky Referrals programs. This includes damages arising from program suspension, changes, or errors in reward distribution. Senior Discovery Tours' total liability in connection with these programs is limited to the value of the rewards or benefits in dispute.
