With its picturesque rolling hills and endless expanse of white sand beaches, Barbados is the quintessential island getaway and a long time favourite of Canadians. Breathe in the scent of the wild nutmeg trees that this “Spice Island” is famous for as you stroll past the heliconia and ginger lilies to Grand Etang Lake. Be sure to bring along your swimsuit because the crystal-clear pool at the base of Seven Sisters Falls is hard to resist.
Trinidad is the birthplace of steelpan and calypso music. There is plenty to see here. The Asa Wright Nature Centre is devoted to naturalists and bird watchers. Enjoy a culinary demonstration, afternoon tea, or catch a movie under the stars. This evening we enjoy a gala New Year’s Eve Countdown Party.

Although this unique Dutch island has blossomed as a sophisticated Caribbean destination, the real attraction is under water. Aruba is surrounded by colourful coral. The abundant sea life around Arashi Reef or the wreck of the Antilla is simply breathtaking. If you would rather stay dry, view it all by taking an excursion from the air conditioned comfort of an Atlantis submarine or a glass bottom boat.
