We fly to Fort Lauderdale and upon arrival we transfer to our cruise ship, the Majestic Princess. This evening we enjoy our first delicious dinner on board.
Time to relax, get acquainted with the ship and enjoy the endless array of facilities, activities, and entertainment. Visit the health club for a workout or beauty treatment, join an exercise class, line dancing or perhaps a wine tasting.
On the north coast of the Dominican Republic, Amber Cove (named for the translucent gemstone found on its shores), sits just seven miles from the town of Puerto Plata. This cinematic locale was used as the backdrop for the first Jurassic Park film. Just steps from the dock you can take in the sparkling beach, which offers a host of water activities, or enjoy the serene, natural beauty of the scenery. You may also want to explore the 450-year-old San Felipe Fortress in Puerto Plata.
San Juan is known as the walled city and is one of the biggest and best natural harbours in the Caribbean. It is also the second oldest European founded city in the Americas. Explore Old San Juan, with its 400 carefully restored 16th and 17th-century Spanish colonial buildings. Visit the 16th-century National Historic Site fort of El Morro, which covers over 70 acres and features six levels that rise from sea level to 145 feet.
Dive into British naval history at Nelson’s Dockyard where you can patrol the museum and Blockhouse Ruins for nautical lore. Indulge your sense of wonder snorkeling above rainbow reefs, or pick one of the 365 beaches and soak up the sun.
(Christmas Day) The capital of this Dutch island, Philipsburg, charms with colonial architecture, historic buildings, wonderful shopping, and sun swept beaches. Just a few blocks wide, delights can be found around every corner in the city. On the other side of the island, the hub of French St. Martin is filled with designer boutiques, sidewalk cafés, bistros and trendy art galleries. Wander through the charming streets and experience a taste of France. This evening, we enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner, with all the trimmings, prepared by Princess’ own expert chefs.

The Florida Everglades are home to many endangered species, so an airboat ride through the “River of Grass” is the perfect way to view the wildlife. Go for a stroll on Las Olas Boulevard in the trendy Riverwalk district, with its fabulous art galleries, eclectic boutiques and busy sidewalk cafés.

Immerse yourself in the region’s rich history by exploring the ancient Mayan ruins of Chacchoben or Kohunlich. Snorkel over vibrant coral reefs, relax at private beach clubs, or experience local culture through artisan markets and traditional cuisine.
(New Years Eve) The dense rainforest in Belize is dotted with Mayan ruins and tropical wildlife. The world’s second largest barrier reef is here and offers some of the finest snorkeling and diving in the world. Explore the historic sites, markets, and cultural heritage of Belize City. This evening, we enjoy a gala New Years Eve Countdown Party.
Cozumel opens the door to stunning adventures, from snorkeling vibrant coral reefs and exploring hidden cenotes to lounging on powdery white beaches. Discover the island’s charm with visits to Mayan ruins, authentic local cuisine, and unique shopping experiences in colorful markets.
After all the exciting sightseeing of the past few weeks, enjoy a final day at sea. Attend a culinary demonstration, afternoon tea, watch a movie under the stars, catch up on your reading, and enjoy the company of newfound friends.
We arrive back in Fort Lauderdale in the morning and transfer to the airport for our flight home.
