We depart for Florence, via Paris.

We arrive in Florence and transfer to Levanto - our base for the next 5 nights. This evening our guides will welcome us and give an orientation briefing on the walks offered during the tour.

On our first walk, travel by train to Levanto and take a scenic walk to the enchanting village of Bonassola, with breathtaking Mediterranean Sea views. Meander through this picturesque coastal town’s absolute serenity before catching a train to Riomaggiore. There, we’ll unwind or enjoy another invigorating hike to the village’s summit for panoramic views.

Travel by train to Cinque Terre’s picturesque towns, starting with Corniglia, uniquely perched on a promontory and surrounded by vineyards. After exploring Corniglia, head to Vernazza with colourful houses leading to a sheltered harbour. Optionally, walk to the spectacular Vernazza viewpoint.

Take a train to Santa Margherita, a Ligurian fishing village transformed into a coastal resort on the Italian Riviera. Explore the town, its basilica, and palazzo gardens, then walk along the coast to Portofino. In Portofino, enjoy a guided tour and the breathtaking views and gardens at Castello Brown.

Today we embark on a scenic train journey to Manarola, perched 70 meters above sea level and renowned as one of Cinque Terre’s most enchanting villages. We’ll have time to explore the picturesque streets of Manarola before heading to Riomaggiore. For those seeking more of an adventure, there’s an option to hike from Manarola to Riomaggiore, taking in stunning views of vineyards and olive groves along the way.

Travel inland, stopping at the medieval hilltop town of Montepulciano in Tuscany. Enjoy free time to explore its Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, and elegant squares offering countryside views of vineyards known for “Vino Nobile”. Then, proceed to Attigliano in Umbria for an overnight stay.

Head to the Amalfi Coast for a scenic day! En route, explore the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. On a clear day, you can see stunning views over the Bay of Naples. After, continue to your hotel in Maiori for a four-night stay.

Visit the famous town of Amalfi, set below the steep cliffs of the Tyrrhenian Sea’s coast. See the brilliant Arab-Norman cathedral, medieval shipyards and enjoy free time before returning to Maori for an afternoon at leisure.

Transfer to the enchanting town of Ravello for a guided walking tour, including a visit to Villa Rufolo, known for its enchanting hanging gardens and Mediterranean views. Next, enjoy ascenic hike along the Valle delle Ferriere, featuring beautiful vistas and lush greenery. Descend with awe-inspiring panoramas of the Amalfi Coast.

Take a bus to Agerola, starting your walk to Positano along the “Pathway of the Gods”, with stunning Amalfi peninsula views. Explore Positano, a nearly vertical town with terraced Moorish-style houses, balconies, and arcades popularized by artists and writers.

Today’s hike is along the Sentiero dei Limoni (Path of the Lemons), a renowned Amalfi Coast trail since Roman times. This ancient path winds through terraced lemon groves between the seaside towns of Maiori and Minori, offering spectacular scenery throughout! At last, enjoy a delicious Farewell Dinner in the evening.

We fly home from Naples, via Paris.
