This gem on Spain’s southern coast boasts 320 days of sunshine every year—which means more sunny afternoons to enjoy the miles of sandy beaches, spectacular scenery, fascinating sites and incredible Spanish culture.

Rows of striped parasols dot the inviting beaches, and the famous Paseo Maritimo beachfront promenade, with kiosks and shops of every description, begs to be explored. The centre of the charming town of Torremolinos, is an easy walk away, and the perfect place to explore colourful boutiques, cafés, and bars.

We will stay at the all-suite Ocean House Costa del Sol, located directly on famous Carihuela Beach, steps from shops, restaurants, galleries, and the exclusive Puerto Marina. Our hotel has 5 outdoor seafront pools (one is heated), an international buffet restaurant, and nightly live entertainment.

Each guest suite features a picture window, sliding doors to a private terrace with a mountain view, a living area with sofa and separate bedroom (queen or 2 twin), and free Wi-Fi. A limited number of upgrades to Puerto Marina Sea View rooms are available.

Tour Highlights

Malaga: We will take a full-day tour to Málaga, an ancient port known as “the City of Paradise” for its perfect mix of history and culture, sunny beaches and blue sea. We will visit the Gibralfaro, an old Moorish fortress with fantastic sea and city views, an incredible cathedral, and explore Picasso’s history and art at the Picasso Museum. A special tapas (small plates) lunch is included.
Granada and Alhambra: We will spend a full day in Granada, stopping at the Alhambra, a majestic fortress that was the summer residence of royalty. We will see fascinating remnants of ancient Moorish culture, including the enchanting maze of the old Arab quarter, the Alcaiceria market, the old university, beautiful hammams and other gems. Lunch at a local restaurant is included.
Nerja Caves and Frigiliana: We will take a half-day tour of the magnificent prehistoric caves known as the “Underground Cathedral”. Famed for their huge, dramatic stalactites and stalagmites— including the largest stalactite in the world—they are home to some of the oldest art known to humankind. We will also visit Frigiliana to explore its historic quarter, one of the best-preserved Moorish settlements in Spain. We will walk its winding streets, learn its history, and take in some truly spectacular views of the Costa del Sol.
Marbella and Puerto Banos: On this half-day coastal tour, we will visit Spain’s most exclusive resort area, with 27 km of beaches, villas, hotels and golf courses. The focal point is a luxury marina and shopping complex, which welcomes some of the largest and most luxurious private ships in the world.
Antequera: This half-day tour into the heart of Andalusia takes us to the medieval town of Antequera, where we will see Alcazaba Citadel castle, Nájera Palace (now home to a museum), and other buildings and monuments dating as far back as the Bronze Age.
Fuengirola Market & Mijas: We will visit the colourful Fuengirola Street Market on Tuesday, where hundreds of vendors have everything from antique maps to gemstones to clothing for sale—with bargains galore! From there, we’ll head to the picturesque village of Mijas to explore its whitewashed streets and ancient buildings, with a stop at a local bar for a tasting of wine and tapas.
Countryside Tour: This fascinating tour takes us inland for a glimpse of authentic rural life in Andalucia, with enchanting white villages and beautiful vistas with fruit and olive trees. We will stop at a rural plantation filled with fragrant orange and lemon trees, and visit the Agricultural Museum to learn about the area’s interesting history.
Holiday Celebrations: For those joining us on the December tour, we celebrate the holidays with special dinners on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We ring in the New Year with a festive Gala NYE Dinner & Party with many delicacies, open bar and live band.(December tour only.)

You may cancel your tour up to 60 days prior to departure (90 days prior for tours requiring a visa, cruises or rail journeys) for any reason, and receive a full refund of your deposit / payment (less the $75 administration fee).

Included in the cost of your tour is our Cancellation Insurance Policy, which provides coverage in case of emergency injury or illness (including Covid), right up to your date of departure (terms and conditions apply).
