Active pace with longer touring days. Expect intermittent walking at a moderate pace for 2–3 hours over a variety of terrain, including cobblestones, hills and uneven pavements. Must be able to negotiate stairs of varying heights, sometimes without handrails. Can tolerate periods of standing during guided tours and be able to climb in/out of various modes of transportation. Some days may include 5–7 km of walking over the course of the day.
We fly to Phuket via Vancouver and Bangkok.
We transfer to our hotel, with the balance of the day at leisure.
We start off with a scenic drive along the coast, passing Patong, Karon, Kata, and Rawai beaches and stopping at the breathtaking Three Beaches viewpoint. In Phuket Town, we’ll admire the Sino-Portuguese architecture, visit the Peranakan Museum and explore attractions like the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong monastery. The tour ends with sunset at Promthep Cape, one of Phuket’s most beautiful panoramas.

Today we're off to see the dramatic limestone landscape of Phang Nga Bay. After a scenic road trip to the local fishing village on Klong Kian, we embark on a speedboat to stunning Hong Island. Embark on sea canoeing or long-tail boat rides and visit the iconic "James Bond Island" where The Man with the Golden Gun was filmed. We will visit mangrove forests and spend the afternoon unwinding on secluded beaches and pristine waters.

Tonight we’ll embark on a sunset dinner cruise aboard a traditional Chinese junk, with breathtaking views and a delectable buffet dinner.
We make out way to the beautiful coastal town of Krabi, with the rest of the day at leisure to enjoy our luxury resort.
Today we will island-hop via speedboat to Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Ley islands—Phi Phi Ley is the stunning location of the movie “The Beach.” Enjoy dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, emerald water, and vibrant reefs. Then, after a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, it’s off to secluded Bamboo Beach or Rang Yai Island for more swimming and relaxation.

Today, we embark on an unforgettable adventure! We will visit the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, where you'll have the unique opportunity to feed and interact with the elephants while learning about their history and behavior. Enjoy a mud treatment session and a refreshing bath with the elephants in a nearby river. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

Built in 1782, the Grand Palace was the official residence of the Kings of Thailand until 1925. We will explore the palace complex, which covers over 218,000 square meters, and has numerous buildings, temples and gardens. We then continue to Wat Pho, home to the impressive Reclining Buddha, one of the largest Buddha statues in Thailand. After lunch at a riverside restaurant, the afternoon is free to explore the city.
Today we take a tranquil tour along the Chao Phraya River, drifting through the heart of Bangkok to explore the canals of Thonburi, known as the “Venice of the East.” We’ll learn about traditional Thai life, and see wooden homes on stilts, Buddhist temples, and small businesses along the waterways. Tonight, we’ll be guests at a traditional Thai dinner and dance performance in a traditional teak pavilion.
