Moderate pace with leisurely intermittent walks up to 2 hours on a variety of terrain, including cobblestones and moderate hills. Must be able to climb at least two flights of stairs, negotiate steps without railings and tolerate periods of standing during guided tours. Some days may include 3–5 km of walking over the course of the day.

Travel to Schaffhausen and take a boat ride to the foot of The Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall, before an afternoon at leisure.
Enjoy a scenic drive past three unique lakes en route to Vitznau. There, take a cruise across tranquil Lake Lucerne, surrounded by mountain scenery. This evening we enjoy a Swiss folklore show with dinner.
Partake in a walking tour of medieval Lucerne, taking in the city’s lovely cobblestone streets, monuments, fountains, covered bridges and frescoed buildings before an afternoon at leisure.
Visit the Lion Monument before a walking tour of Basel’s historical beauty. Later, embark on the luxurious MS Amadeus Queen with a Welcome drink and dinner.
Stroll through historic Strasbourg, including a visit to the renowned Straßburger Münster cathedral. After, cruise via boat along the river, taking in iconic sights like the Petite France district’s centuries- old half-timbered houses. Later, you may join an optional tour and continue exploring this charming region, including a visit of a local winery
Tour historic Speyer’s Romanesque Imperial Cathedral, Baroque Church of the Holy Spirit, the Old Gate of Speyer, and the medieval Judenhof. Proceed to Heidelberg’s famously beautiful Baroque old town, and visit the red sandstone castle’s stunning ruins and gardens. Finish with a walk to see the Karl-Theodor bridge, the late- Gothic Church of the Holy Spirit, and the town hall.
Arrive in the winemaking town of Rudesheim and embark on the Winzerexpress train to the “Siegfried Mechanical Music Cabinet” for a musical adventure with historical self-playing instruments. Next, stroll along historic Drosselgasse’s 15th-century cobblestone streets lined with wine houses, restaurants, and shops. In the afternoon, take a walking tour of the 2000-year-old town of Koblenz, stopping by the Basilica of St. Kastor and Church of Our Lady. Take a cable car up to the medieval Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and museum.
Cochem, nestled in the picturesque Moselle wine valley, is known for its dazzling landscapes, ancient wine culture, and history. Explore its winding streets and ascend to Reichsburg Castle, boasting breathtaking views of the Moselle Valley’s lush forests and vineyards. Inside the castle, discover the trove of Renaissance and Baroque treasures.
Arrive in 2000-year-old Cologne for a walking tour of the city’s narrow streets and bustling squares. After, experience the iconic twin-spired Cologne Cathedral, towering over the city since 1880. At last, savour a glass of Kölsch, the renowned local beer.
Among Amsterdam’s gorgeous flower displays, canals and bridges, take a tour that passes by the Maritime Museum, Jewish Quarter, and the Museum Quarter before a peaceful canal cruise. Visit the old fishing village of Volendam, followed by a cheese farm visit. Finish the day with a stroll through the charming village of Edam, renowned for its cheese, and admire the Carillon Tower and 18th-century town hall. In the evening our boat’s Captain invites you to a Gala Dinner, and choir performance.
Disembark our ship and transfer to the airport for our flight home.
