Experience Polynesian culture, swim in waterfalls, enjoy scenic wonders, and soak up the sun on golden beaches.
We begin with a 5-night stay in Honolulu’s legendary Waikiki district, which brims with culture, entertainment, shopping, and culinary delights. Our hotel is the well-located Courtyard by Marriott, which has a restaurant, spa, pool and gardens, and is a short walk from Waikiki Beach. All rooms have a kitchenette and a balcony.
Our next stop is the Island of Hawaii where we will stay at the Royal Kona Resort for 4 nights. It has a dramatic oceanfront setting overlooking Kailua Bay and is a short walk to the shops, restaurants and activities in Kona. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, oceanfront pool, beautiful gardens and lovely, spacious guest rooms.
Maui is our last stop, and a chance to experience the island’s distinctive red, black and white sand beaches, the soaring summit of Haleakala Volcano, and the lush Iao Valley.
Our hotel for our 4-night stay (plus late-check-out on the last day) is the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, voted Best Hotel in Hawaii in USA Today’s 2023 Readers Choice Awards. This 23-acre oceanfront oasis is situated on the most prime expanse of Kaanapali Beach, with its 3 miles of fine white sand, a championship golf course, a daily sunset cliff-diving ceremony, and the Whaler’s Village shopping complex. It is also a favourite snorkel location for encounters with green sea turtles. The hotel has a huge lagoon-style pool meandering through lushly-landscaped gardens, a variety of 8 indoor and outdoor restaurants and bars, scheduled activities like lessons in ukulele and hula dancing, a spa that offers a variety of services in an idyllic environment, and lovely, spacious guestrooms with balconies.
