This walking tour offers a choice of up to 3 daily walks of varying difficulty levels, including gentle walks of only 5 - 7 kms. We will discover magnificent trails and scenery, wildlife, and captivating historical attractions.
We begin with a 7-night stay in Derwentwater, near Keswick. Nestled amidst picturesque valleys and majestic crags, Derwentwater is often referred to as the “Queen of the Lakes”, with some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Lakes District. This idyllic location provides easy access to a variety of landmarks, including the fells (hills) of Cat Bells, Walla Craig and Latrigg. To the south, lies the entrance to the stunning Borrowdale Valley.
Our next 3 nights are in the beautiful Southern Yorkshire Dales, a region of captivating beauty, with rolling hills, green valleys, and charming villages. From the 17th century town of Airton to the Ingleborough Cave, this landscape is rich in beauty and immersed in history.
We end with 2 nights in the vibrant city of Liverpool, where our city tour will highlight the life of the Beatles.
