Celebrated for their rich Mayan history and stunning natural landscapes, Oaxaca and Chiapas are known for their rich Indigenous communities proudly practicing age-old traditions in cuisine, clothing, and folk art.
Our journey begins and ends in vibrant Mexico City, where we explore pre-Hispanic neighbourhoods and colonial-era churches nestled among brightly painted houses. Next, we spend four nights in Oaxaca, a quintessential Mexican town known for its colourful markets, delicious food, and stunning churches. We’ll stay at Hotel Boutique Na’ura Centro, a colonial-style boutique hotel characteristic of the splendid architecture of this historic city, and from there we can explore the town’s narrow, winding streets, enjoy charming local cafés, or venture out to discover aweinspiring ancient ruins.
Our next adventure includes a 5-night stay in Chiapas, Mexico’s “Paradise of the South.” We will stay at Casa Vieja, an enchanting hotel near the main pedestrian areas, and enjoy visits to Mayan villages and tranquil natural attractions.
